Privacy Policy.
Last updated: August 2026. How we collect, use and protect your information.
KT Bradley CPA ("we," "us," "our") provides tax preparation, bookkeeping, tax planning, tax debt resolution, business consulting, business funding and wealth strategy services. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it, including the sensitive financial and tax documents our work requires.
Information We Collect
In the course of providing tax and accounting services, we may collect:
- Contact information: name, mailing address, email address and phone number.
- Tax and financial documents you provide, which may include Social Security numbers, Employer Identification Numbers, income statements, bank and investment records, and prior-year returns.
- Information submitted through our website's contact form, upload portal and scheduling tools.
- Basic website usage information collected automatically by our hosting and analytics tools.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to prepare and file tax returns, maintain your books and records, advise on tax and financial planning, communicate with you about your account or engagement, and meet our professional and legal obligations. We do not use your tax or financial information for purposes unrelated to the services you have engaged us to perform without your consent.
Protecting Tax Documents and Social Security Numbers
Documents containing Social Security numbers, EINs and other sensitive identifiers are handled with restricted access, both in our office and in the digital systems we use to store and transmit them. Our upload portal is intended to be the primary way clients send us sensitive documents; email should be avoided for anything containing a full Social Security number or bank account details whenever a secure alternative is available. Paper records are stored in a locked office and retained only as long as professional and legal requirements dictate before secure disposal.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal or financial information. We disclose it only:
- To the Internal Revenue Service, state tax agencies, or other government bodies as required to prepare and file your returns or respond to an inquiry on your behalf.
- To service providers who support our operations, such as secure document storage or scheduling platforms, under obligations to protect your information.
- When required by law, subpoena, or other valid legal process.
- With your consent, such as when you ask us to share information with a lender or another advisor.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to limit access to client data to the people who need it to serve you.
Cookies and Website Analytics
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies to remember basic preferences and understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site features but will not affect our ability to serve you as a client.
Your Rights and Choices
You may ask us to correct inaccurate information we hold about you, ask questions about how your information is used, or request a copy of documents you have provided to us. Contact us using the information below and we will respond as promptly as we can.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
